Abstract:

In order to study the erosion failure mechanism of gas drilling wellhead four-way body, a wellhead four-way erosion model was established based on the liquid-solid two-phase flow model and erosion theory. Fluent software was used to study the velocity, particle mass flow, particle density, and particles of different fluid media Effect of particle size on erosion rate. The results show that the areas of maximum erosion rate are basically the same under different experimental conditions, and all occur at the junction of the wellhead four-way body near the edge of the outlet; the maximum erosion rate gradually increases with the increase of inlet velocity and particle mass flow, and the velocity increases The higher the mass flow rate, the greater the impact on the maximum erosion rate. Under the experimental data in this paper, the maximum erosion rate does not change significantly with the increase in particle density. The relationship between the maximum erosion rate and the particle size is more complicated. There may be an interaction between the particle size, particle mass flow rate, and inlet flow rate.
